Today I released the new Kennedy Chopper Class website. The update to the site was based off of feedback from the first one (which you can still see in my portfolio) as well as my own observations. The new site was built on blogging software to better facilitate news posting, and to allow people to comment on each news post and follow them in an RSS feed of their choice. I also updated the way the sponsors were listed at the bottom of the page, and made it feel less clumsy and incomplete. Finally, the look of the site was overhauled to give it a more industrial feel and add a little bit of “Wow” factor, one of the big things is the short intro-like movie that plays in the header. It may not be very long, but I think it’s a nice touch, and sums up the chopper class pretty well.
I have some additional things to work on for the site, the biggest one is finishing up the Projects pages, which will need to wait since the teacher of the class is very busy this time of year, and on top of that just had knee surgery. I’ll be sure to post an update once they’re all done though.
Be sure to take a look at the site, since me talking about it doesn’t really do it justice: http://www.kennedychopperclass.com/As always I welcome feedback, which you can post here, or on the Kennedy Site under the New and Improved Website news post.
